SFDR

All Curie Capital funds (Curie Capital Holding, Curie Capital I, Curie Capital II, Curie Capital III, and Curie Capital IV) are exclusively focused on life sciences. All of the investments made promote Environmental and/or Social characteristics, specifically with regards to SDG 3 (“Ensuring healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages”). The Fund’s investment strategy is to invest in private companies that do research and development on new and innovative medicines and/or medical technologies addressing substantial unmet medical needs with the potential to significantly impact patients’ lives.

No sustainable investment objective

Curie Capitals’ funds promote environmental or social characteristics, but do not have as its objective sustainable investment. The funds do not make any ‘sustainable investments’ pursuant to articles 8 and 9 of the SFDR but comply with SFDR article 6.

Governance

We are noting that investments the Fund makes, are made in life sciences companies of relatively early stage where generally a limited number of people work and structures are yet to be set up. With this in mind, the Fund will endorse good governance committees in its portfolio companies. To endorse transparent financial reporting, the formation of an audit committee will be endorsed. The Fund will also endorse the formation of a remuneration committee to ensure transparency regarding the remuneration of senior management.
